"Adorable hidden gem. They make their own homemade peanut butter no added sugar and they make homemade yogurt. It’s such a wonderful smoothie yogurt bowl I am eating it daily! The owners are so nice as well. So grateful to have discovered this well kept secret"

"Rumah Tikus is a must-visit slow bar with the best Jamu in Bali! Friendly owner, great music, and a uniquely authentic atmosphere inside the rice fields. The owner’s dog, Tikus, is around too and is very friendly. If you're craving an authentic Ubud experience, then look no further. This is a hidden gem that completely delivers on its promise of a "slow bar" experience. The vibe is amazing—imagine shabby-chic bars in Berlin back in the day, but nestled in the peaceful rice fields. The DJ sets the perfect, laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. And this is, without a doubt, where you’ll find the best Jamu in Bali. It’s fresh and authentic. Paired with their seriously delicious grilled cheese sandwich, you have the perfect afternoon or early evening treat."

"Stopped in for a Jamu along my Sari Organic rice field walk and it’s such a cool little spot. Has a really cool unique eclectic vibe which you don’t see a lot of in Bali but set right next to the rice field is amazing. They make their own Jamu fresh which was delicious. The place is named after the owners sweet dog Tikus who he introduced me to. Such a cute dog! Highly recommend stopping by especially if you’re doing the Sari Organuc rice field walk."

"Do yourself just the biggest favor and check out Rumah Tikus. This little slow bar was truly one of the highlights of my two month stint in Ubud. The walk from town to get there is absolutely breathtaking, the cafe itself is so cute, Tikus is adorable, the owners are sooo kind and fun, and the food is delicious! Seriously, try the Dirty Garlic Bread or the Peanut Butter Toast! Those were my favorite! My partner and I came here several times throughout our time in Ubud. This was truly one of our favorite little places. Thank you, Rumah Tikus! Until we meet again"
